Does this OS have terminal?

Can i do programming like in any other linux machines i.e. from terminal ??

Yes! We include a terminal app, you can find it in the app center. Since version 3.1.1 we’ve also got a section for “Developer tools” in the app center; see the release announcement. But you don’t need 3.1.1 for the terminal, that’s been included in Endless OS for a long time.

Do note that you’ll likely need to use Flatpak for your development environment as commented here.

Note that you can also quickly launch the Terminal from the desktop search. Show the desktop, and start typing “term”. Once you see the terminal icon highlighted, just hit enter.
